Right. I have to declare that I am 100% obsessed with Clarisonic, so I was very excited to find out all about the latest launch, the Clarisonic Mia 2.

Just in case you aren’t familiar with Clarisonic, I’ll give you a quick run down of what it’s all about.
Clarisonic is a cleansing brush that sonically massages your skin to deep cleanse and remove makeup and impurities.
The brush oscillates at a sonic frequency of over 300 movements per second gently massages away dirt and oil much more effectively than using your hands alone. In fact, it’s claimed that it is 6 times more effective than traditional cleansing, and clinical trials have shown that that continued use can reduce the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles, oily areas, dry skin patches and blemishes and improve skin tone in general.
But don’t worry about all that! Basically it is a deep cleanse like no other! From the first time I used it I was blown away by how smooth and soft my skin felt straight after and how clear and glowy my skin has become.
I have been using it now since February this year (2012) and I can honestly say that I would never be without it now. After I have used it (and it only takes one minute) my clean is so clean that not a single trace of dirt or makeup shows up on a toner soaked cotton pad. Not a trace! It is cleaner than clean.
And because my skin is so clean, it is perfectly prepped for the rest of my skin care regime and I feel like my serums and creams penetrate more effectively and absorb deeper into my skin. Because my skin is clear and free from dead skin cells, I need less product than before to get my skin perfectly hydrated.
But let me talk about the actual products. First came the Clarisonic Plus and then came the Clarisonic Mia which is kind of the travel versionof the Plus. It is more compact, has a travel charger (as opposed to a bigger cradle) and it small enough to pack to travel with.
I love the Mia but I do prefer the Clarisonic Plus because it has variable speeds, different settings and a T-timer that guides the through the cleansing process. This is basically a series of beeps that tell you when to move to the next zone of your face within the one minute cleansing period.
The Mia is a one-button, one-speed, one minute affair so it’s brilliant for people that like things simple and as I say, it’s perfect for when I travel. I also use it as a backup if the Plus has run of charge and I am caught short! I hate to be without a charged Clarisonic somewhere in the house!
The good news is that the Clarisinoc Mia 2 addresses many of the features that the Mia lacks in comparison to the Plus – sound like a total nerd don’t I?! Oh well…
The Clarisonic Mia 2 is just as compact as the Mia and comes with the same style travel charger but this time has 2 speeds and the brilliant T-timer for an enhanced cleansing experience. It’s perfect!!
Clarisonic Mia 2 will be available exclusively at Space NK from September 2012 and nationwide from December priced £130.

This sounds fantastic. I haven’t used something like this personally but I know people who have and they really do rave about it. Definitely going to add this to my wishlist x
