I thought I had better tell you about this lovely cleanser from Clarins, seeing as I have nearly used it all up and have been keeping it a secret!

Clarins Water Comfort One Step Cleanser Review – Normal/Dry Skin
I am a big fan of Clarins skincare (and their makeup for that matter) and have been using various products of theirs for longer than I care to remember.
My love affair with the brand recently intensified with the introduction of Clarin’s Double Serum which I am completely head over heels about! You can read my Clarins Double Serum Review HERE. But back to the Water Comfort One Step Cleanser. I use it in quite a few different ways.

It has to be said, I am all about cleansing. Cleansing is huge! I am a bit of a Clarisonic girl (big understatement) and am always on the hunt for it’s perfect partner. I think I have actually found it (hint: another cleansing beauty from Clarins) but that is another blog post. Note: this water cleanser shouldn’t be used directly with the Clarisonic.
So when I cleanse, I really like to do a proper job and this often involves double, or even triple, cleansing to get my skin completely spotless. At night, I don’t like to go straight in with my Clarisonic on to makeup, so I use a product to remove the majority of it first.
The Clarins Water Comfort One Step Cleanser is perfect for this. It gently and lightly melts off makeup and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight. I then use my Clarisonic.
If I decide to manual cleanse, then I will use a cream or oil, and then use I tiny bit of the water cleanser after just to remove any last traces of impurities.

But it’s main use, and when I use it the most, is in the mornings when I want a quick, fresh, light cleanse. The gorgeous peach smell really wakes me up, refreshes my face and leaves it feeling clean and soft ready for product. It doesn’t make my skin feel tight.
It is a fabulous morning product, and if you wear light makeup, it will work well in the evening too. Although I do think a deeper cleanse every now and then wouldn’t go amiss! But as I explained, I am kind of obsessed with cleansing.
Really love it. I massively prefer it to the Bioderma micellar cleanser that everyone raves about, mainly because that product felt like it left a bit of a residue rather than my skin feeling perfectly clean.
The Clarins Water Comfort One Step Cleanser is £19.50 for 200ml.
