Ciate Red Velvet Manicure Review
I have so much fun with these Ciate Manicure kits. Half the pleasure of it is actually doing it! I have to admit though, that I wasn’t entirely sure how much I was going to love the velvet look. However, I surprised myself and really actually loved it! I think the visual effect is pretty stunning.
The Ciate Red Velvet Kit is really easy to do. You just paint all the nails with one coat of Ciate Boudoir and then start working on the nails individually. On each nail, I did a 2nd thickish coat, then spinkled a very generous layer of crush velvet on top, then moved on to the next nail.
When one hand was done, I took the Ciate dusting brush and gently removed the excess which reveals the finished look. I did the other hand just the same and then waited for 15 minutes to let the Red Velvet manicure dry before doing anything.
I loved the result! It was super bright but with a blurred, matte effect just like velvet. It feels just like velvet too.
