PR samples. Affiliate links | I have been wearing the Ciate Extraordinary Foundation all week & I have to say, I am really impressed. I have a review & all shades swatches here.

I love trying out new foundations and I have been really happy with this new one. I had high hopes because I really am a fan of Ciate makeup and I actually think that many of their products are unsung heroes. The Dewy Spritz is one of my all time favourite setting sprays and I am on my third bottle!

Ciate Extraordinary Foundation Swatches
I have all the shades here to show you.
Porcelain, Linen, Silk, Buff, Peach, Sand, Ochre:

Fawn, Buiscuit, Bamboo, Maple, Toast, Pebble:

Caramel, Pecan, Nutmeg, Mink, Sable, Walnut, Chestnut:

There’s a really good range of shades, although I did notice that there isn’t a super light one, because my match is Porcelain which is the lightest shade.
Before & After
I absolutely love the Porcelain shade on my skin, applied it with my fingers, which I have decided is my favourite way to apply this foundation after trying a couple of different brushes. I love the way it melts into my skin with the warmth of my fingers.
Here’s my before photo:

My Review
I really love how this looks. It’s glowy, perfecting and basically makes my skin look really flawless. It feels light on the skin, and also really comfortable and hydrating.
I found that is lasted really nicely, with minimal fading or breaking up, and it stayed looking fresh. I am really enjoying wearing it and have kept going back to it this week. It’s a thumbs up from me, and I also think it’s great value at £28 for 50ml. Most of my foundations are only 30ml.
Where can you buy it?
It seems there is limited stock available right now, but the new Ciate Extraordinary Foundation is available at Feel Unique and Look Fantastic.

Ooh this looks like a great foundation for me! It looks absolutely gorgeous. I’ve never tried any make up from Ciate and I still associate them with nail polishes, but I’ve added this to my wish list.

A word to the wise. Although the Ciate website tells you that you can return this product as long as it is only lightly used, they will only refund you for one item. So if you buy 3 shades like I did, and return all of them because none of them worked for me, they will only refund me for two of them so I am left with a credit note for the other 2 which I will probably never use (because I found the texture unsuitable for my skin). Not great for a brand that is only available online and therefore impossible to try without purchasing (they don’t send out samples).
I will feed this back xx
I love this review thank you. I am fair cool tone and find it very difficult to find reviews for my skin tone. Think I’ll give this foundation a go. Did it oxidise on you? I will say though, if I had skin like yours I don’t think I’d bother wearing foundation! I thought your first pic was the one with it on!
aw thanks so much. I don’t think I noticed any oxidisation – not used it for a while as I only had a small sample of my shade xx
