| Ciate Caviar Luxe Manicure Review |
I adore a bit of bling and nails don’t get much blingier than this! This works in exactly the same way as the original Ciate caviar manicure and the only difference is that the luxe factor has seriously been ramped up! All you do is paint 2 coats of the metallic base colour, shake on the pearls, tap them into place and then wait 20 minutes for it all to set. I then finished with a coat of Seche Vite to increase durability. It all feels pretty solid now and I totally love it!
I found it tricky to capture the real colour on camera but it is pretty true to the image on the box in the first pic.
A word of warning, although you are probably not as silly as me. Keep the 2 bottles separate! Dipping the polish brush into the bottle of golden pearls is a serious pain and could really jeopardise your beautiful manicure! Luckily I made this school girl error near the end of application and it wasn’t as disastrous as it could have been. I just have a glob of gold polish inside the pearl bottle with lots of pearls stuck to it. I am hoping it won’t cause too many problems when I use it next time. Silly me!
The Ciate Caviar Luxe Manicure comes in 3 metallic shades Gleam, Lustre and Smoulder. This is Lustre here which is a yellow gold. Gleam is white gold and Smoulder is rose gold. Sets cost £25 each and will be available at Selfridges from October 2013.
