So here is the next phase in the wonder that is Louboutin Beaute! It’s more nails and completely stunning! The Christian Louboutin Scarabée Nail Collection is an exclusive edit of 3 new colours for summer.

The shades are inspired by Monsieur Louboutin’s love of Egypt and his fascination with the Scarab beetle. The shades are influenced by the Scarab beetle’s metallic shell and iridescent duochrome sheen. This is also reflected in the packaging design which is such an important element of the Louboutin Beaute nail collections.

As always with Christian Louboutin, this beauty launch is very much tied in with the brand’s fashion ethos. In fact, the shades and finishes of the Christian Louboutin Scarabée Nail Collection actually inspired Christian to develop a new patent leather for his AW15 collection – Scarabee Ocean Amazone. It is a shiny blue-to-green patent degrade.

Christian Louboutin Scarabée Nail Shades

The limited edition comes in three colours, where the pigment and pearls have the ability to reflect two or more shades at once:

• Scarabée I – a soft metallic flecked with shades of rose and gold
• Scarabée II – a deep blue with flashes of purple, emerald, and gold
• Scarabée III – a bronze with highlights of green and blue

The bottles are topped with a tall, copper gold cap, and are encased in brown cartons adorned with a copper gold scarab motif with a cut-out window to reveal the nail colour.
