I know that I am not alone in being ridiculously excited about the news that Christian Louboutin is launching a beauty range. Hallelujah! We just know it’s going to be gorgeous! My initial excitement is all about what the packaging will look like and the shade of red sole lipstick! I can barely contain myself. I need to see some pictures!
Well I have been in touch with the people in the know and this is the official low down…

Yesterday, 11th May 2012, in New York it was announced by Christian Louboutin SA and Batallure Beauty, LLC that a joint venture had been created establish Christian Louboutin Beauté. Woooo!
Christian Louboutin Beauté
The new company has been formed to “develop and globally market luxury beauty products across a number of classifications”.
Robin Burns, Chairman & Co-Founder of Batallure Beauty said,
“We are delighted to collaborate with Christian Louboutin to translate his world-renowned creative vision into the luxury beauty world…Wearing a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes completely transforms a woman and Christian will bring that same transformative quality to women through his beauty products.”  AGREED!
From Christian Louboutin,

“Twenty years ago I started what I thought would be a small adventure, which ended up becoming a company. The beauty adventure is a natural extension for someone like me, who likes to empower women and to be a part of creating beauty seems like the right next step”. AGREED AGAIN!
Batallure Beauty was founded by Robin Burns and Sam Ghusson in 2006. Its client list includes Abercrombie & Fitch, Express, Give Back Brands, Macy’s, Marchesa, Sephora, and Splendid.
They know their beauty for sure! Robin Burns has previously served as President and CEO of Calvin Klein Cosmetics, Estée Lauder, and Victoria’s Secret Beauty. Sam Ghusson has held executive positions in supply chain management at Calvin Klein Cosmetics, Elizabeth Arden, Victoria’s Secret Beauty, Bath & Body Works, and Gryphon Development.
I think we can safely say that Christian Louboutin Beauté has some serious fashion and beauty credentials in place already. It’s gonna be good!!
Now we just have to sit and wait!! Hurry!!! I need some pictures!
What do you think it will look like? Black and Red? Tell me what you think?
