I have had lots of requests for a review of these new lip & cheek tints so I am super excited to have this post ready for you. Here’s the lowdown on the Charlotte Tilbury Tinted Love Lip & Cheek Tint collection. I have photos, swatches and lip swatches for you.
What is Charlotte Tilbury Tinted Love?
Charlotte is calling these her “beautifying filters for lips & cheeks”.
They are part of the Look of Love collection which include the Look of Love Instant Palettes, and the Look of Love Lipsticks.

Highlights
- Easy to apply, blend and build

- The shades give a really youthful glow
The most impressive thing about Tinted Love is that the colour looks so natural and pretty but it lasts and lasts, especially the deeper shades.
I wore the Love Chain shade out on my lips, which is a Poppy Red, and it was so flattering on the complexion. It’s the kind of shade that really wakes up your face. I love it.
The stain lasted all day. My lips were still fresh and bright looking at bedtime and I think Love Chain is definitely the shade I will grab when I am feeling and looking tired. It’s like a breath of fresh air! Also I wore it with a mask and there was no transfer at all.
If you have dry lips, you may find the formula clings to dry patches. If you still want to try this these, I’d recommend prepping with a lip scrub and balm. I love the Tinker Taylor kit for this.
In terms of how they perform as a cheek tint, I haven’t tested all the shades yet but the texture is lovely and easy to work with. It feels light and hydrating on the skin, and gives a fab juicy finish.
I think I’ll get a lot of use out of these.

I got three of them (Petal Pink, Tripping on Love, and Love Chain). I agree they have longterm staying power, are non-transferable, and are great for when you don’t really want to use many makeup products. I personally top off my lips with Supergoop Lip Shine Gloss after the tint dries to avoid dry lips myself.
Now I was thinking of purchasing the Blushed Rose but I wasn’t sure if it was too light and/or too similar to Petal Pink. You and I have similar skin coloring so I’m curious what are your thoughts?
