This is SO exciting! A brand new Matte Revolution lipstick from Team Tilbury. Check out my photos and swatches of Charlotte Tilbury Sunset Lover Lipstick. It’s the perfect addition to your summer makeup wardrobe.
The Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution formula is one of my favourite, if not THE favourite, matte formulations I have tried. It gives the lips a soft, velvety finish, lasts really well, fades evenly and never dries out my lips. What more could you want? This new shade is gorgeous!
Also, it’s special because Charlotte left it down to Instagram followers to name it, and after 22,000 entries, she chose Sunset Lover.
- Peach pink shade
- Matte finish
- Limited edition, online exclusive
- Named by CT followers
- Works well with Pink Venus liner
Charlotte Tilbury Sunset Lover Swatch
Like all of Charlotte’s lipsticks, this shade has been developed to flatter all skin tones. I really love this on my fair complexion, but if you check out the website, so you can see it on a whole range of skintones.
It’s super pretty and fresh – a really easy soft pop of colour to wear. As with all Matte Revolution shades, this lipstick is very long lasting and so comfortable to wear. This shade gives the lips a lovely glow and I think it’s really youthful and flattering.

Such a pretty color for summer It looks great on you!
I just received mine. I had my doubts when I ordered it. I rarely venture far from nude to light red. This shade is amazing! I applied it without a mirror. Then I looked. It is gorgeous. It lights my face up. As you said, Charlotte’s Matte Revolution lipsticks are just simply the best. Thank you for another wonderful post,
I want to love Charlotte Tilbury, and I do love her contour/highlight duo, but so often the models they use and the swatches they show on their website vary SO much from reality. This looks so much more orange on you than it does on her swatches online, and while I recognize everyone’s skintone, etc. is different, it’s just another case of a dramatic difference. Am I the only one who is continually disappointed with the brand?
