Woo! I love the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation. After I visited Charlotte’s house to learn about all the new and exciting collections coming our way, I was thrilled to be colour matched by Charlotte herself as she said I must own the Light Wonder Foundation. I was really excited! Particularly as Charlotte is literally one of the most enthusiastic and energetic people I have ever come across. Her spirit is entirely contagious! So here it is, reviewed and photographed. Enjoy!

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation Review

I have to start off by saying, Charlotte Tilbury really does know how to make you glow, and the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation is all about that.  It is a super light formula that promises to hydrates, illuminate and perfect, whilst minimising pores and fine lines. It’s just what I want a foundation to do.

As well as what Charlotte describes as a “diaphanous veil of youth-enhancing tint” it also contains skincare ingredients – “youth-boosting actives”  to reduce wrinkles, even out the skin tone and resurface the skin. It also contains a natural retinol alternative to promote collagen production.

I absolutely love this on my skin! The after shot is before powder so it is very dewy here, but with a light dusting of powder down the t-zone, it is real perfection. I hardly need to use any concealer with this at all and the finish is so natural looking that it looks more like skin than foundation. Just gorgeous!

I love to apply this with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush and I think this gives the perfect finish. This is a real firm favourite at the moment. It also is nice and long lasting and keeps my skin hydrated and fresh looking.

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation comes in 10 shades and costs £32. Find it at Selfridges.

  1. Im looking to purchase this foundation but I dont know which color to order! Do you have a comparison of other brands where you can say which colors are similar to this one? Or more specifically, diorskin nude bb cream in 002 is basically the perfect color for my skin, and I want to get this foundation to be close to that color, and I just don’t know!

    1. Hi there!

Right I don’t have the Nude BB cream but Dior Star 020 is pretty similar to CT 03 – maybe a tiny bit darker. Hope that helps!

  2. Hi!
Was wondering if you would have any idea what shade of this foundation would roughly match Estee Lauder’s Double Wear foundation in shade Bone? Light Wonder looks amazing!
