This is so exciting! Charlotte Tilbury did my makeup!! Well, she did half my makeup and then I had to copy it! No pressure then! Spending time with Charlotte Tilbury one to one is amazing. She is one of those magical creatures that’s naturally entertaining without trying. As you will see from the video, it was pretty impossible for me to stop smiling! I seem vaguely calm as I watch it back, but I was actually having about a thousand kittens because I was SO over-excited.

At one point, as we were demonstrating the new Natural Glowing Look Quick n Easy kit, Charlotte stopped the filming because my ears had gone completely red! She was like, “darling, I need some foundation for Ree’s ears, they need a bit of help!”. I thought it was hilarious! I think I was channelling all the stress and excitement through them! I have met Charlotte a few times before but the novelty doesn’t wear off because she’s like a unicorn. Also, it has always been in groups of press and bloggers, and nothing as intimate as this. What struck me about her is how gentle and kind she is. If you needed a boost in life, the answer would be to spend a bit of quality time with Charlotte Tilbury because I literally walked out of the studio and floated off on a cloud!

There’s a point in the video where she announces that she needs to straddle me, and I couldn’t have been more delighted. I mean, Charlotte can straddle me anytime!

When I got home I spent the whole evening giggling to myself and then recalling little moments from the day. It was really very special and when I watched the footage for the first time, I got all giddy again!

It is so easy to see why Charlotte is so successful. It’s not just because she is hugely talented in her craft, but it’s because she has an innate talent at making you feel good about yourself. I was so lucky to have this opportunity. It really is a dream come true.

The main point that Charlotte is trying to make in the video is that you don’t actually need her to create the magic on your face, because she has created products that enable you to be your own artist.
