Here is a review of the Charlotte Tilbury Desert Haze Luxury Palette of Mattes and I am so pleased because they are my kind of shades!
What is the Charlotte Tilbury Desert Haze Luxury Palette of Mattes?

So the vibe with this palette is all about bronzey summer and launched alongside the brand new Airbrush Bronzer – see my photos and swatches of that in my recent post.
In this post I will share swatches of Desert Haze, but I know you will have requests for comparisons, so please do let me know in the comments and I can do my best to start working on that for you.
I was really excited about this because if anyone knows how to do mattes that suit more mature skins, it’s Charlotte. And when it comes to eyeshadow, that is super important if you have crepiness or hooded lids. Charlotte really understands more mature skin and this has been formulated to look smooth and flawless and never cakey and dry.
Charlotte Tilbury Desert Haze Swatches
The Shades
- PRIME – a soft, muted nude that gives the effect of broadening the whole eye area
- ENHANCE – a warm, sun-brushed peach that lightly contours, giving a lifting effect to the socket
- SMOKE – a rusty, terracotta brown to bring burnished, smokiness to the eyes, making the lashes look thicker and luscious
- DEFINE – a deep, reddish brown that adds instant definition and depth to the eye
I have swatched the palette in the same order as listed above – this is clockwise around the palette. So top row left to right, and bottom row right to left:

The formula is really good. The shadows are soft and smooth and have a beautiful velvety texture that is very flattering on the skin. The shades are intensely pigmented, yet are easy to blend. Yay!
I am creating a video to show you an eye look, so make sure you stay tuned for that. I’ll be sure to add it in to this post.

Hi Ree! Thanks for the swatches, it would be good to see this against The Sophisticate quad if you have it – I think Desert Haze is probably a fair bit warmer? Take Care x
I love CT palettes, they’re so pretty!
