If you haven’t already heard lots about the CeraVe UK launch you soon will because this brand is absolutely set to blow up when it lands this March. The trend toward affordable and transparent yet super effective skincare is growing here in the UK and CeraVe slots perfectly into that category. Here’s what you need to know before it launches.

If you like clean, clinical-looking packaging, and there are so many people that do, then you will be instantly attracted to this. CeraVe looks like a doctor brand, and it is; it was developed by a board of US dermatologists who wanted to up the ante when it came to moisturisation. Find the range in the UK here.

They wanted to use Ceramides which work to repair the skin barrier function rather than moisturisers that just sit on top of the skin to prevent water escaping.

The CeraVe blend uses a combination of emollients, humectants and three specific ceramides which all work together to restore the skin barrier and plump and hydrate the skin. It is fragrance free, paraben free, allergy-tested and non-comedogenic. If you have skin issues such as dermatitis, acne or eczema, this is definitely one to check out. It’s also a good one to check out if you don’t have those kind of skin issues!

CeraVe UK Product Range

To begin with, six of the US’s best sellers will launch in the UK. Each one uses CeraVe’s MultiVesicular Emulsion Technology (MVE) which gradually releases the ceramide-rich formula over an extended period of time:

• Moisturising Cream – hero product £14.50 (454g)
• Moisturising Lotion – lightweight formula £9 (236ml)
• Hydrating Cleanser – non foaming lotion £9 (236ml) full review
• Foaming Facial Cleanser – soap-free cleanser £9 (236ml)
• Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF25 – restores barrier, hydrates & protects £12 for 52ml
• Reparative Hand Cream – deeply moisturises, non-greasy £5.50 (50ml)
• Eye Repair Cream – launching later in 2018 £11 for 14ml

I have quite a few samples and will be giving them a bit of a test before they launch. I have had a quick play and the formulas are really impressive. This brand is going to go down a storm here!

The eye cream will not be part of the initial launch but it’s on its way!!
