Carmen By Samantha Salon Glamour CurlsI have always found it difficult to find a curler that creates the type of curls that I want, that doesn’t take me hours to do my hair. I have always loved Sam Faiers’ hair and wanted to achieve her curls so I was really happy to be asked to test the Carmen By Samantha Salon Glamour Curls. Carmen is a brand of hair tools which I had often used as a teen and I was excited to try out the brand again.

This curler is different to anything I have ever used before and looked very intimidating at first, but once I read through the instructions and watched a quick YouTube tutorial on it I was good to go!

The Carmen Salon Glamour Curls can create curls within minutes and draws the hair into the curling compartment automatically once you have started to feed it into the curler and pressed the button. This device has so many different settings so you can customise the curls your hair will achieve. With 10 different heat settings and 11 timer settings, you can even change the direction of the curl to create different styles!

Carmen Salon Glamour Curls Review

I have found it to be extremely easy to use on my long hair. The main issue I used to have with curling my hair before, is that it would take too long and I would always end up burning my fingers. But because your hair curls inside the device there isn’t any way for you to burn yourself! My hair is poker straight and in the past when I curled my hair it would take me hours and the curls just wouldn’t last longer than a few hours. However,  I found with this tool it took me less than 25 minutes to curl all of my hair each time. What is even better is that the curls would last until I washed my hair the next day which I thought was so impressive as that has never happened before!

One thing I will mention if that if you have long hair like I do, mine is almost at my waist, I would be very careful and take your time doing your hair with this tool. I somehow managed to get a small section of my hair stuck in the device, it took 20 minutes and some tweezers to release my hair. It was at the point of almost having to cut it out because I was getting very stressed about it but luckily my hair is fine. It is something to keep in mind. (Other people have reported this too) Even though a small part of my hair got stuck I have still continued to use it and it hasn’t happened since that one time. I make sure to do it in small tangle free sections to prevent that from happening again, although truthfully, my hair wasn’t tangled in the first place and I had watched this video on how to use it before I started.

Hair mishap aside, I would still recommend this hair tool if you have shorter hair than I do as it does create gorgeous curls, but just take your time and do it in small sections and keep the hair free of all tangles! I will still use this as I love how quick and easy it is to create the curls I have always wanted. I also love how many different options it has so you create so many different styles from just one curler. You can find the Carmen Salon Glamour Curls HERE for £79.99.

  • I have the exact opposite problem. My hair is short and it ends up looking the same, but with more height and lift no matter what I do. I can’t find products that wave or curl short hair.
