Cargo Cosmetics Suited to a Tea Palette Review
To be totally honest, I have seen so many great eyeshadow powder palettes recently that the fact that these were all cream shades slightly confused me. I don’t think I have ever been confronted with so many cream eyeshadows at once! But as soon as I started swatching, I started to understand the kind of pretty “no makeup, makeup” looks you can achieve with the Cargo Suited to a Tea Palette, so perfect and sheeny for glowy springtime skin.
Swatched first is the top row – shades Ganache, Bloomsbury, Crumpet, Devonshire, Ooolong and Tisane:

I was instantly obsessed with the matte shades Bloomsbury & Crumpet – they are so luscious.
Next we have Petit Four, Earl Grey, Wedgewood, Ritz, Macaron, and Mayfair:

Aren’t they just beautiful shades?! They scream sumptuousness to me! Now I haven’t had a chance to play with these properly but I did a really quick eye look just to show you the pretty sheeny finish of the Suited to a Tea Palette.

You can create such beautifully soft and muted eye looks as well as some brighter pops of pastels that I still need to experiment with.
The only thing I am worried about is that I have fairly oily eyelids and cream shades don’t last too long on me, so I’ll be sure to prime first. Also I think these will make an amazing base for powder shadows for when I want to increase intensity.
Cargo Cosmetics Suited to a Tea Palette is available at Debenhams from 24th March 2014 for £30. If you love cream shadows, this is a winner for sure.
