I get very excited by Burberry makeup, well the whole Burberry brand to be fair, and considering that I am completely obsessed with ‘Glow’, I absolutely couldn’t wait to try the new Burberry Summer Showers Collection. It includes the new Fresh Glow Blush, Lip Glow Balm and new Nail Polishes all in 3 pretty new shades, Orange Poppy, Pink Peony & Pink Azalea. I have the Fresh Glow Blush in Pink Azalea and the Lip Glow Balm in Orange Poppy to show you!

First up, here’s a close up look at the Burberry Fresh Glow Blush. I love the texture of this stick which is actually made up of 50% water. It feels really cool and hydrating and the finish is all about giving a dewy flush of colour on the skin and a beautiful healthy glow.

As you can see, it is the lightest touch of colour and it gives a really juicy looking finish to the skin. This would be perfect for anyone a little scared of blusher as I’d say it is pretty hard to go wrong with it. Also, so good for summer as it is seriously cooling!
And now for the little beauty that is the Burberry Lip Glow Balm in Orange Poppy!

The packaging and presentation of this is absolutely insane! It feels super soft and moisturising as it contains the brand’s signature blend of lavender, rosehip and tea extracts. Again it gives the lips a lovely juicy look and the finish is nicely glossy with a sheer wash of colour. And imagine the pride when you pull it out of your bag for a top up! Shallow I know, but I have never tried to hide that!
You know what else I love? That Burberry makeup is still a bit under the radar. It is so chic and classy and it isn’t often you see someone waving it around. The quality is lovely and with fresh, juiciness being top of the list for Summer, I think this collection will see some new fans to the brand.
The Burberry Summer Showers collection is on counter from June 2014. The Fresh Glow Blush is £26, The Lip Glow Balm is £23 and the Nail Polish is £15. There is also a Fresh Glow BB Cream for £30.

I adore their beauty line as well! The products give such a light and dewy finish. I love the packaging too – particularly the magnetic tops on the lipsticks which you can pop back on and watch swivel into place 🙂
Cool!
