Big thumbs up for the Bourjois Happy Light concealer which I have finally gotten around to trying, and now wish I had done so before!!

Bourjois Happy Light Concealer Swatch
Bourjois Happy Light Concealer is a gorgeous creamy texture with full coverage but it isn’t at all cakey or heavy. A little goes a long way, and I love it under my eyes to even out colour (I have quite blue/purply tones under my eyes) and also smooth fine lines. It also makes a fab primer on the lids for eyeshadow.
It is great for around the nose to conceal any redness and the coverage is good enough to cover blemishes yet still leave the skin looking natural.
Here’s a before and after photo to demonstrate Bourjois Happy Light Concealer (shade Ivoire 21) in action. The first picture shows just primer and foundation and the second picture shows the concealer lightly applied under the eyes, on the eyelids and on any areas of redness or imperfection.

I think it is excellent and it reminds me rather a lot of another favourite, the Estee Lauder Double Wear High Cover Concealer but without the SPF, which some may prefer for photography.
Here it is with my finished makeup from Christmas Day:

  1. Wow I’m really impressed! You can really see a difference and it’s so brightening too. Do you find it tends towards yellow undertones, though? (I’ll probably forget to check back here as won’t be online all day so would you mind tweeting me an answer if you get the chance? I Really want to know if I could make this work but I always find bourjois base products are too yellow toned for me – @petitmoi_laura )

Your Christmas day look was gorgeous, flawless 🙂

    Laura –

  2. Ree, I keep going to browse other blogs but then I see another post of yours and just need to read it! I think I’ll be here all day at this rate!
This concealer looks fab – I’m going to by it to see what it’s like with my Borjois serum foundation. I may also buy the Happy Light foundation, I’ve heard great things about that too!
