I ADORE Bourjois 1 Seconde nail polishes and so the idea of a Bourjois 1 Seconde Mascara was really rather exciting!! Here’s the low-down and a before and after shot where I attempted to spend just 1 second on 1 eye!!

The Volume 1 Seconde Mascara brush is very interesting:

It has ‘wraparound spherical bristles’ and is inspired by professional round hairbrushes. I told you it was interesting! The spheres envelope the whole lash to coat it, and the straight bristles define each lash without clumping.
I usually spend a bit of time over my mascara, gently wiggling it into the roots and slowly building it up but in the spirit of 1 Seconde, I popped this on as quickly as I possibly could. It might have been a little more than 1 second, but definitely not much more than 2!

I think there is a really good difference and it is very easy to apply. When I spent the normal amount of time I would on mascara. it is obviously much more impressive. I will show you that in a Face of the Day post soon.
Bourjois 1 Seconde Volume Mascara comes in standard (16 hour hold) and waterproof (24 hour hold). My sample is the waterproof variety and it stayed on in the shower but came off easily with my Ole Henriksen Makeup Removing Cleansing Cloths – review on those soon). It’s out mid May 2014 for £9.99.
