Body Armour Ultimate Skin Protection Body Lotion Review
I have been trying the Body Armour Body Lotion. In fact, I took it to Boot Camp with me and I was extremely pleased that I did!
I use body moisturiser every single day because I like my skin to feel and look soft, but mainly because I don’t like the feel of my skin without lotion on it –  it can be tight and dry. However, at Boot Camp my skin, particularly on my knees, took a bit of a bashing during floor exercises. The skin very quickly became red, sore and inflamed. The trainers would know what I mean as I moaned about it rather a lot!!
I packed a big tub of Superdrug Vitamin E Body Cream because it is cheap and I knew I would be using loads but it just wasn’t enough for my poor red knees! So I decided to give the Body Armour Body Lotion a go.
I put it on after the shower at the end of the second day and when I woke up in the morning the redness had gone from my knees and they felt soothed and nearly normal. I say nearly normal because nothing feels normal after 2 days of Boot Camp!! Really.
I have to say it was a bit of a life saver, as I was near to refusing to do any exercise that involved kneeling and you are not allowed to say no at Boot Camp! I really love the stuff, properly love it, and if you had been there, you’d understand!
My only gripe is that you don’t get a lot for £15 – quite a small bottle of £150ml – so it really wouldn’t last long with my body lotion addiction. Having said that, the quality is reflected in the price and it is so effective that you probably don’t need to use it every day, or perhaps you could save it for the bits of your body (in my case knees) that really need it.
