I am a big fan of concealer to instantly wake up and freshen the complexion, so I was very excited to get to grips with the latest edition from Bobbi. Here’s a look at the brand new Bobbi Brown Instant Full Cover Concealer with photos and swatches. It promises to be better than sleep!!

Concealer is one of those items that I am never without, and I like formulations with excellent coverage and a hydrating, skin flattering texture. I was keen to find out whether this newbie would deliver.

I was matched to Warm Ivory at the launch event and here it is applied to my under eyes. I love the brightening and smoothing effect.

I have four shades to show you – Porcelain, Warm Ivory, Sand and Golden:

I really love the texture. It has a creamy yet ever so slightly tacky consistency that seems to lock moisture and smooth out the surface. It lasts really well on the skin and sets itself so there’s no need for powder (yay!).’

I just use the side of the doe-foot to swipe the concealer onto the under-eye area, and then smooth and tap it into the skin with my fingertips. The result is instantly refreshed and brightened eyes with a lovely soft focus finish. My eye area feels soft, smooth and hydrated like it has really good skincare on it. Lovely!

This is a winner for me and I think it will be really appealing as it’s also suitable for use on blemishes.
