Bobbi Brown Eye Opening Mascara Review

One of my fave mascaras is Smokey Eye from Bobbi so I was really really keen to try out the brand’s newbie, Bobbi Brown Eye Opening Mascara. When I am tired, having an open-eyed look is something I really crave, so my fingers were crossed for this.

So my first impressions …. MASSIVE BRUSH! I was actually a little scared! I haven’t really used a mega brush for absolutely ages – not since my obsession with a Christian Dior one about 10 years ago. I always used big brushes in the past, but they seem a little alien now because I have become so accustomed to the small plastic brushes which are so popular right now.

• Rich, carbon-black formula intensely thickens, curls and lifts lashes from root to tip

Even though the brush made me nervous, I have an awful lot of faith in Bobbi and so looked forward to the results.

As you can probably see, it all happened after the first coat and I LOVE it!! So dark, so long, so volumised and so curly. Fabulous!!

And then when I did a little Instagram where I was actually talking about my hair, it was the lashes that really stood out.

I am really impressed!
