A key element of Bobbi Brown’s Illuminating Nudes collection is the Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm. Rather excitingly, it is what Bobbi is calling her ‘Dream Cream’!

Now who doesn’t want a dream cream?! Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm promises to deliver a lit from within look and a re-energised feel while moisturising the skin.

The press office is extremely thin on the ground with samples of the Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm but they kindly sent me some of the product decanted into a little pot so I could get a good feel of what it is all about.

I have to say, it is luscious. The texture is gorgeously creamy yet super light on the skin.

It feels super cooling and calming as it is applied and it sinks in beautifully.

Right now I have a cold, and my skin really feels like is has a cold too, but this adds a real look of health and some great luminosity. Here it is with a light layer of foundation applied on top:

I think that it really lights up my face. I absolutely love the effect. You can also use it over makeup for targeted brightening.

I am putting it on my wishlist – I think I need it!
