This is a super luxurious, rich cream that contains Bioeffect’s iconic barley-powered Epidermal Growth Factor that encourages the skin to act younger!

There’s also a whole host of other ingredients that boost the skin and target all signs of ageing.

Key Ingredients

The formula includes a potent blend of only 23 anti-aging ingredients formulated to deliver maximum anti-ageing benefit:

Barley EGF

This is a moisture-binding, skin-rejuvenating, and signalling protein.

EGF is found naturally in the skin, however, as we age, our bodies start to produce less growth factors which means cell turnover and repair slows down.

Bioeffect’s complex is the first plant-based solution proven to address the effects of the loss of our skin’s EGF. The Barley EGF signal proteins communicate with cells and tell them to do their repair work.

Barley Beta Glucan

This works to soothe, seal in moisture, hydrate, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and address UV damage. It provides 3 times more potent antioxidant protection than Beta Glucan derived from Oats.

Oridonin

This is a brand new skincare ingredient derived from an herbal extract. It works to reduce oxidative stress and can also communicate with the skin in a similar way to Barley EGF.

Niacinamide

Works to visibly improves skin’s texture and tone, increases radiance and also while minimises fine lines and wrinkles.

Hyaluronic Acid

In this formula we have a super low molecular weight (SLMW) form specially developed for better penetration.

Icelandic Water

Geologically filtered through layers of inert volcanic lava, with a low concentration of hard minerals such as calcium and magnesium.

Squalane

My Review of Bioeffect EGF Power Cream

I have to say, this is quite the dream cream. I have been testing this for about six weeks and it’s love.

I absolutely love Bioeffect and the serum is now a mainstay in my beauty stash. The Power Cream is amazing because it’s the first time they have managed to include their exclusive Barley EGF complex into a moisturising cream.

What is the texture like?

If you like a rich, elegant texture in a cream and this one seriously ticks the boxes. It’s rich, but not heavy, thanks to an almost whipped texture that feels airy and light.

What are the Instant Effects?

The Power Cream is instantly soothing on the skin, and floods it with hydration and makes it look plump, smooth and bouncy. That feeling of moisturisation is really long lasting, and it locks in the hydration for the whole day.

The super low weight Hyaluronic Acid really helps to enhance the penetration of the all the ingredients for maximum effect.

Longer Term Results

Having used this for quite a while now, I am seeing a whole hosts of benefits. Apart from the fact that my skin seems denser and bouncier, I have seen a nice improvement in the appearance of my pores.

I think this is down to the niacinamide in the formula which works in harmony with the other key ingredients.

As well as my pores looking better, I think that my lines and wrinkle are softened and the general tone of my skin looks more even.

Can you use Power Cream around the eyes?

Another thing I absolutely love about the Bioeffect EGF Power Cream is that it’s so good on the eye area too. I have been using it all over my face and neck, including the eye area, and the formula is so effective everywhere. Some face creams can be too heavy for the eye areas but this seems to adapt perfectly.

Can this be used day and night?

The formula works equally well for both day and night. The texture is rich enough for night time, but also has such great absorption that it sits perfectly under makeup and keeps everything looking plump and hydrated all day.

Do you need to use it with the EGF Serum?

Because it has such a nourishing and hydrating texture, I have been using it without the EGF serum. This is mainly because I wanted to see what it could do without the help of the serum. And I have been so impressed with what it can do on its own.

I am excited to start combining the two as I have been told that the effects will be boosted even more!
