Big Easy is Benefit’s Multi-Balancing Complexion Perfector. I keep wanting to call it a BB Cream, but my title isn’t exactly correct to be fair – on the packaging it reads “Benefit Bigger Than BB Big Easy SPF35 Liquid to Powder Oil Free Multi-Balancing Complexion Perfector” (breathe) but I kind of decided that was a bit of a mouthful!

So Big Easy is bigger than BB because it promises to balance moisture and control oil, and also the it has a “cushiony” liquid to powder formula. Let’s have a look!

Benefit Big Easy BB Cream Swatch 04 Medium |
Benefit Big Easy comes in 6 shades. I have 04 medium (swatched above) which is potentially too dark for me, however, each shade has self-adjusting pigments to ensure a good skin tone match.

It is amazing for tackling shine, minimising the appearance of pores and covering redness. It is also buidable so you can use it to conceal if you pat it on the the areas that need a bit more coverage. It has a primer feel, and slips on to the skin rather nicely (that’s the silicone it contains) and then transforms itself to a velvet finish that doesn’t need powdering.
Benefit’s Big Easy is going to be perfect for people with oily skin. I think it is working really well down my t-zone, but I don’t like it as much around the eye area where I have lines, and also it is slightly too drying for me around the sides of my chin where my skin is very dehydrated. This will be real winner for those that want to control oil though, reduce shine and disguise enlarged pores.
I love the fact that it contains SPF35 whilst still feeling very light on the skin. The formula is great and a definite summer option when things start getting very shiny!
Benefit Big Easy BB Cream launches in April 2014 for £27.50. Stay tuned to Benefit online for more info.

Sounds like a lovely, effective cream although I’m a bit surprised to see more BB creams being launched, I thought that the trend was moving into CC and DDs instead… :o) Xx

I started off loving that fact that this was an SPF 35, but then when you talked about oil control, I decided I wasn’t so interested! I find Benefit aim a lot of their products at pore and oil control and to minimise shine. It would be lovely if they launched a few products to help us dry skin girls!
