I am excited by this! So many brands are going for the salon gel 2 step nails right now and it’s fab to see British high street nail masters, Barry M, getting in on the action. I am already a firm fan of Barry M’s Gelly Nails. I genuinely think they are some of the best examples of high performance, high quality yet low cost super shiny nail polishes on the high street. Check out the newest shades HERE. I am absolutely loving the shades in this new Barry M Sunset Nail Paint and the 2 step system guarantees an ultra glossy finish.

The bottle also uses the new brush that the Barry M Speedy polishes have and it’s basically one swipe perfection!

There are just 2 steps as the directions state you don’t need a base coat as the gel formula bonds to the nail surface. This could worry me if I cared about stained nails, but the fact is, I haven’t left the house without nail polish for at least 10 years!

• Apply 2 coats of one of the 7 shades
• Apply one coat of the top coat

The idea is that the top coat instantly sets and cures the colour, without the need for UV. Fabulous!

It is so easy to apply and the top coat does indeed set everything really quickly, which is great if you’re in a rush. I haven’t had a chance to test the long term promise, as I wanted to get this up to show you what’s new. I will update here on that in due course.
