If you are looking for an eye treatment products that’s a bit different, then you need to take a look at this. Here’s the BareMinerals Mineralixirs Eye Oil Balm.

I use eye cream every day and have done for many years as I really think it’s so important to keep the eye area super hydrated. I have always preferred a cream rather than a gel as I find them much more nourishing and softening, but I have never used an oil on this area before.
I love to use oils in my skincare regime and so the idea of extending that to the eye area is extremely interesting. The BareMinerals Mineralixirs Eye Oil Balm is no ordinary oil because it comes as a solid balm in a handy little pot.

BareMinerals Mineralixirs Eye Oil Balm – Use
As you rub your finger over the balm, it instantly emulsifies into an oil which you can then press into the skin around the eye area. It is instantly hydrating and softening and has a real smoothing effect on the skin.

BareMinerals Mineralixirs Eye Oil Balm Formulation
The whole Mineralixirs range contains pure, cold-pressed rosehip seed oil which is rich in Omega 3 and Omega 6. This works to replenish the skin’s natural moisture barrier whilst soothing damaged skin with anti-ageing benefit. Although it is an oil, it is lovely and light, yet works to lock in moisture to keep the area hydrated over time.
I find that it works well under makeup and if, during the day, my under eye starts to look a little dehydrated, I just gently tap a very small amount of the BareMinerals Mineralixirs Eye Oil Balm over my makeup and it really refreshes the area. I haven’t been using it long enough to determine any long term anti-ageing benefits but I absolutely love it so far.

If you have an eye cream that you already love, you can use it underneath to soften and intensely hydrate.
The BareMinerals Mineralixirs Eye Oil Balm is available at Sephora in the US, and will be landing at Boots in the New Year for £26. Read about the BareMinerals Mineralixirs collection HERE.
