I have found a new curler that promises to be so easy to use, creates long lasting waves, and is pretty affordable too. Here’s what you need to know about the BaByliss Curl Luxe Styler. Does it work?

Well the very fast answer to that question is, yes! I did a first impressions test of this new hair tool on my Instagram Stories, and I had success with it straight away!

What is the BaByliss Curl Luxe Styler?

This styler has a unique split-barrel design which uses a mix of both air and heat to curl and set the hair at the same time.

How to Use It

The BaByliss Curl Luxe Styler is really easy to use. You simply turn it on and choose your temperature. The fan starts whirring when it’s ready. Take sections of the hair, press the button to open the heated plates, and place the hair in between, at the highest point you want your waves to start.

Allow the plates close by releasing the button, and then and rotate the styler 180° and slide it down the section. You can press the button to release the hair, or simply let it slide out of the end.

The hair is curled, but also feels much cooler than if you had used a regular tong or straightener to create the waves.

Are the waves long lasting?

I found my waves to be really nice and long lasting, and super bouncy. This is thanks to the cool air technology that cools the waves as soon as it’s created, which effectively sets it in place faster.

My waves survived overnight. This was how they looked the next day.
