I have had this sample of the Aveda Be Curly Curl Enhancing Hair Spray for a while and not used it because I thoght it was only suitable for people with naturally curly hair. The blurb says that it locks in perfect curls with flexible hold and I thought to myself, that is exactly what I need for my ‘fake’ curls, so I decided to give it a go!

And I am really glad I tried it because it works very well on my hair for what I want to achieve. I basically washed and conditioned my hair, applied heat protector and rough dried it. When it was still a little damp I spritzed the Aveda Be Curly Spray on to the hair in a few sections, Tangle Teezed it through and then finished drying it.
When it came to styling, I sectioned the hair, curled it with the BaByliss Waving Wand and then spritzed the curled sections with the Be Curly Spray before moving onto the next level of hair (I hope that makes sense? Basically I sprayed it after I curled it!! Yes that’s clearer!).
When it was all curled, sprayed and cooled, I raked through the waves with my fingers and then gave it a final finishing spritz. This is how it looked.

Cue profile picture!! This style lasted really well for a few days and I think the clean, defined appearance of the waves was greatly aided by the Aveda Be Curly Curl Enhancing Hair Spray. It is also great to spritz on to day 2/3 waves and curls after brushing to redefine and revive the style.
Wonderful! I do love Aveda for haircare – it is pretty hard to go wrong with it! The Aveda Be Curly Curl Enhancing Hair Spray Review costs £17.50 for 200mls online at Aveda. You can also buy Aveda at John Lewis, Debenhams and Look Fantastic.
