What an amazing name! The Lip Magnet! I love it and it describes this brand new product very well. If you like matte lip colour, then this post is for you. Here is all the information you need along with lots of shade swatches. Check out the Armani Beauty Lip Magnet. Enjoy!
There’s a whole lot of technology in this new lip colour and that is something I love about Armani Beauty, there’s always serious innovation in every launch. They really don’t mess around! I was very excited to try these because I have a good track record with Armani lip products. Their glosses – the Flash Lacquers – are up there with my all time faves.
Armani Beauty Lip Magnet Features
- Super-fine matte finish liquid lipstick
- Combination of water-fine oils & pigments in an inverted emulsion
- Water-in-oil gradually evaporates after application
- With evaporation, oils & pigments fuse to reveal concentrated colour
- Four times thinner than a traditional liquid lipstick
- Not greasy or sticky
- Hydrating feel, does not dry the lips
- Lasts up to eight hours without moving
- New calligraphic applicator for precision & perfect dose
I tested out one of the shades last week and was very impressed indeed. It is so light that I forgot I was wearing it, and was only reminded when people asked about what was on my lips. That is always a good sign!
It applies beautifully – the applicator is amazing. It makes lining and defining the lips so easy, and it fills in with fast swipes. For full intensity you’ll need two quick coats, and you just need to let the first coat dry before applying the second.
Armani Beauty Lip Magnet Swatches
There are eighteen shades in total and I have nine of them to show you:
- 301 Heat
- 401 Scarlatto
- 501 Eccentrico
- 503 Glow
- 505 Second Skin
- 506 Fusion
- 507 Garconne
- 601 Attitude
- 602 Night Viper
I haven’t swatched all the shades on my lips as they are designed to last and it becomes pretty hard getting them all off. But I thought I’d show you one right now so you can see the finish. 503 Glow was the one I wore all night and it got me lots of compliments. The name made me wear it!
This one is 401 Scarlatto freshly applied (after a few minutes it goes completely matte but stay flexible and comfortable):
Yesterday I wore 507 Garconne, in just one layer for a more subtle look, and it lasted most of the day and faded gently. It was interesting to see what one coat would do as two are recommended.
I think that Armani Beauty Lip Magnet is a brilliant lip colour collection and it has just launched. Available to order HERE.. They are £27 each.
