Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette Review

Previously the Anastasia brand was all about brows for me and I love Brow Wiz and Brow Pomade and now the new Brow Definer (you can see all my reviews here). Then came the Glow Kit which I am literally obsessed with. It even rivals the Champagne Pop phenomenon for me on some days, and I love to layer them all together! Now the eyes are taking over too!

I am so obsessed with this. I wish there were a couple more shimmer finishes in there, just because I am a total magpie, in spite of the fact that matte probably looks better on me!

Vermeer and Primavera are stunning gold shimmers, and Antique Bronze is a beautiful mix of brown and rose gold. I adore the lavender hue of Buon Fresco and the Love Letter’s super matte raspberry, and because orange eyeshadow is an obsession, Realgar is everything. I want that layered under Primavera. LOVE!

I think you are going to have to be fairly quick to grab Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette if you live in the UK as there are limited qualities. However, you can order online HERE now (where I bought it). US readers can order it HERE.

  • The Becca drama has slightly put me off and also I am put off by the price difference compared to US prices.

Previous palettes were reasonably price at £25-30 but for this one the price has shot up on par with Urban Decay.

Cult Beauty has also tried to drive a “frenzy” for it even though it is a permanent line.

I am bored with the drama!

  • I ordered mine yesterday, so excited!! I agree that £41 is pretty pricey, but luckily I got a 15% discount by filling out the ‘My Beauty Preferances’ part of my account first, which I hadn’t yet done – brought it down to about £34-something so it wasn’t too bad 🙂 so definitely do that if you haven’t all ready!

  • I have one (I’m in the states) and love it. Their shadows never appealed to me, but I was totally suckered in with these shades. They’re all the colors of fall in one palette, except for maybe a bronzey green–and I have MAC Sumptuous Olive, so it’s ok.
