Having recently discovered Algenist (I am obsessed the with the face setting serum mist), I was very excited to try out these beautiful liquid highlighters that launch in the UK in June 2017. I love these kind of drops – I use the Cover FX ones quite a lot either mixed into my foundation, or directly on to the skin to highlight the high points. Yes, highlighting has become a everyday thing for me! Gone are the days when I used to save it for a night out! These highlighting drops are particularly appealing as they contain skincare ingredients with anti-ageing benefit.

Skincare Ingredients

Within the formulation is an Algacorrecting Complex which colour corrects and targets uneven skin tone by soothing, brightening and neutralising. It also includes Aluguronic Acid which is scientifically proven to reduce the signs of ageing.

There are three shades available and I have two of them in the duo mini pack.

• Champagne: illuminating gold
• Rosé: glowing pink
• Pearl: highlighting silver

The texture is really beautiful. It blends effortlessly into the skin neat, and mixes well with other complexion products.

I will definitely be including these as part of my makeup routine. I particularly like the Champagne shade.
