YSL Tatouage Couture is a liquid lipstick that boasts a super light texture and excellent staying power. I have been playing with them and getting on really well. YSL are so good at lip products and these are no exception, especially if you like something light and hydrating. I have photos and swatches for you. Enjoy!

I absolutely love the packaging on these liquid lipsticks, but what I love most is that this is a liquid lipstick for those of us that may be a little frightened by the full-on opacity of liquid lipstick.

Much like the YSL Glossy Stains, the first coat delivers a slightly sheer tint of colour for a super relaxed look, and you can build it up for increased intensity.

I really like this formulation, particularly in shade 11 Rose Illicite, which offers up a softly, diffused rosebud lip look. It feels soft and hydrating and stays comfortable and flexible as it wears.

These liquid lipsticks are so long lasting that I couldn’t let them dry down to full matte as I would never get them off!

These lipsticks stain the lips which make the shades super long lasting. This is great considering how imperceptible they are on the lips. I love how thin and light the formula is, it feels comfortable and hydrating and you can pretty much forget that you’re wearing colour. They are easy to layer so you can go for a diffused wash of colour or layer up for a more intense look.
