This Works is a brand that I’ve only tried a small quantity of products from. I always hear glowing reviews of their products and I love their Deep Sleep Pillow Spray for those un-welcome restless nights. So I was thrilled to be offered the chance to try the This Works In Transit Skin Defence Moisturiser.
I love products that are multi-functional and if I can use one product instead of two, then I’m happy. This Works In Transit Skin Defence is one of those products. It is not only a moisturiser but it acts as your SPF too. With boosting botanicals and SPF 30, it’s even suitable for sensitive skin which ticks all the boxes for me.
My skin can be a tad sensitive in the summer months with flare-ups of redness and patches of eczema being frequent issues. Sometimes, regular SPFs can be too much for my skin. So, having SPF as part of my moisturising routine is the perfect combination.
The moisturiser itself contains Hyaluronic Acid. This works to not only hydrate the skin but plump and refine too– the perfect anti-ageing ingredient. Furthermore, there is Vitamin E infused which not only adds to the anti-ageing properties but also calms and protects the skin.
I find the formula very lightweight and it sinks into the skin with ease. The scent is quite herbal so if that isn’t your thing, maybe this isn’t the product for you but it does not linger – plus it’s non-greasy and doesn’t cause any issues when applying makeup on top.
It’s also worth noting that the product is both paraben and sulphate free with zero mineral oil.
The packaging is sleek and I was able to dispense just the right amount of product from the pump. Speaking of pumps – I honestly prefer them for skincare as everything feels more sanitary but also stays fresh for longer.
I think this product ticks a wide range of boxes and would suit a variety of skin types and concerns.
