Westman Atelier The Eyeshadow Holiday Edit is a gorgeous little six-shade eyeshadow palette created for the festive season. Featuring a tonal collection of neutrals, it comes in a sleek, glossy compact that is every bit as chic as you’d expect from Westman Atelier.
Here’s a closer look at the shades, swatches and my thoughts on how it performs.
What Is Westman Atelier The Eyeshadow Holiday Edit?

The Westman Atelier The Eyeshadow Holiday Edit is a six-shade powder eyeshadow palette designed to take you from everyday eye makeup to something a little more dressed up. The collection, named Toujours Fête (which translates as “always a party”), features five matte neutral shades and one shimmering shade called Buck’s Fizz.
The colour story is very tonal, with a selection of wearable neutrals that can be used individually for a soft wash of colour or layered together to add depth and definition. The idea is understated eye makeup with the option to dial things up when you fancy a little more glamour.
The palette is priced at £74 and is a limited-edition release.
Packaging

First things first, the compact is super cute. It has that sleek, polished Westman Atelier aesthetic, and I love both the colour and the glossy finish. It looks beautiful and feels like a lovely little luxury to have in your makeup bag.
It’s also a very considered edit of shades, rather than a huge palette filled with colours you might never touch. Everything feels cohesive, and the shimmer gives you an option for adding a little something extra without straying too far from the neutral colour story.
Shades and Swatches
There are six shades in total, five creamy mattes and one sheer shimmer.

The shades are:
- Caviar: Deep cacao
- Mocha: Chocolate brown
- Beige: Pecan
- Buck’s Fizz: Champagne shimmer
- Cashmere: Latte
- Tusk: Light oak
I’ve swatched all six shades, so you can see the colours together and get a better idea of how they compare. With a palette this tonal, seeing the swatches is particularly useful because some of the shades can look quite similar at first glance.

My Review of Westman Atelier The Eyeshadow Holiday Edit
The first thing I noticed when using this palette was how lovely the textures are. The matte shades feel creamy and soft, with a smooth consistency that makes them easy to apply and blend out. They don’t feel dry or uncomfortable on the skin, and I really like the soft, diffused finish they give.
The formula feels very comfortable on the eyelids, and the shades blend together nicely. You can keep things subtle with a little colour or build up the depth by layering different shades. I found the textures a pleasure to work with, and the overall finish is soft and polished rather than overly heavy.
Now, I have to admit something. I am so used to reaching for my REESON Lid Elixir* that I was slightly bamboozled by having six eyeshadow shades to choose from! Because the colours are so tonal, they can look very similar to the untrained eye, and I found myself wondering which shade should go where.
This is absolutely not a criticism of the palette. I’m simply not a professional makeup artist when it comes to working with lots of different eyeshadow shades, and I tend to prefer a quick, straightforward approach to eye makeup. If you’re someone who enjoys building up colour and playing with different tones, you’ll probably love this edit.
Once I got going, though, I really enjoyed using it. I experimented with a couple of the matte shades and then added a spotlight of the Buck’s Fizz shimmer over the top. I loved the result. It gave the look a pretty, light-catching finish without taking it into full-on glitter territory, which is exactly the sort of thing I want from a festive eyeshadow palette.
I also think the combination of mostly matte shades with just one shimmer is a clever choice. The mattes give you the structure and definition, while the shimmer is there when you want to add a little brightness. You don’t have to use every shade to get a lovely result.
I’ve filmed a video using the palette, too, which I’ll share here as soon as it’s available. I think seeing the shades in action will be particularly helpful if, like me, you sometimes need a little inspiration when it comes to using multiple eyeshadows together.
Overall, I loved using this palette. The textures are gorgeous, the shades are easy to blend and the finish is comfortable on the skin. It’s a beautifully put-together edit for anyone who loves tonal neutral eye makeup with the option of a little sparkle.
Key Ingredients
Westman Atelier highlights three key ingredients in the eyeshadow formula:
Vegetable-Based Ester
Helps give the formula its smooth, slip-on glide and cushiony, comfortable feel. This is particularly welcome in an eyeshadow, where a soft, easy-to-blend texture makes application much more enjoyable.
Micronized Mica Pigments
Help promote smooth, even application and good adhesion to the skin, contributing to the seamless finish of the eyeshadows.
Rose Flower Extract
Included in the matte shades, rose flower extract is highlighted by the brand for its ability to help firm and visibly smooth the appearance of fine lines.

Final Thoughts
I really enjoyed using the Westman Atelier The Eyeshadow Holiday Edit. The compact is gorgeous, the matte formulas feel lovely and soft, and the shades blend beautifully for a comfortable, polished finish. I particularly liked adding Buck’s Fizz over a couple of the matte shades for a little spotlight shimmer.
The tonal colour story is beautiful, and if you enjoy creating different neutral eye looks and appreciate a luxurious compact, this is a very pretty palette to consider.
For me, the standout is the texture: soft, blendable and comfortable, with just enough shimmer to make it feel special for the festive season.
