As a big fan of British brand Votary, I was super excited to try out their brand new serum. Here is the low down on the Votary Brightening Hyaluronic Serum which has a clever blend of Hylauronic Acid and gentle AHA exfoliating acids.
This new launch is actually an update to the brand’s Lemon and Neroli Toning Serum, which I am ashamed to say I never used!
If you haven’t tried any Votary skincare products before, I highly recommend you give them a go. I absolutely love their oils – the Super Seed Facial Oil* is one of my favourites and my boyfriend has been through bottles of the Clarifying Facial Oil*. He absolutely swears by it for clear skin, and I have to say, it gives a lovely glow.
Everything they do is with sustainability in mind – it is cruelty-free, and 100% natural. The products are created in small fresh batches.

My Review of Votary Brightening Hyaluronic Serum
The consistency of the serum is gorgeous. It is one of those serums that really holds it own – not too runny, but not at all sticky either. I have been using about four drops straight on to cleansed skin. It glides over the skin really elegantly and sinks in nice and quickly leaving a lovely juicy feel to the skin.
It gives the skin a lovely glow, instantly boosts hydration and relieves dryness. I have only been using it for a few days, so I’m unable to talk about how it has worked on hyperpigmentation right now, however, the combination of Narcissus Extract and Glycolic acid promises to work well to lighten areas of darkness and speed up skin renewal.
If you suffer with uneven skin tone and are looking to add in a new hydrating serum to your skincare routine that offers more than just hydration, this could be a brilliant option for you. Also, it smells amazing – it’s natural fragrance FYI.
