I have been so excited to try out products from French makeup artist, Violette’s brand, and as a blush lover, this was the perfect place to start! Here’s the lowdown on the Violette FR Bisou Blush with photos and swatches. There’s a brand new shade for 2024 called Melanie and I have it here to show you.
What is Vioelette FR Bisou Blush?
- Matte Cream Blush with Brush
- Cream formula is designed to melt into skin
- Creates a natural, fresh-faced flush
- Each shades has a swirl of marbled pigments for a multi-dimensional wash of colour

Violette FR Bisou Blush New Shade 2024
The new Violette blush shade for 2024 is called Melanie. It is a coral with a blend of peach, apricot, and sheer layers of pink that creates a fresh flush on all complexions.

The are now four shades in the collection: Inès, Louise, Aïssa and Melanie (new for 2024):
- Inès – soft pink flush
- Louise – beige with a touch of pink
- Aïssa – deeper berry tone
- Melanie – coral (see below)

My Review
This is such a pretty blush and I love the packaging with the brush. It makes the formula so easy to top up on the go.
The cream applies really nicely, without disturbing any makeup underneath, and it can be layer lightly for a soft flush, or built up for a stronger look.
It has a matte finish which I really like. It’s nice and skin smoothing, and the colour lasts really well. I like to add the shine with my Highlighter Duo, and the two products layer really nicely together.
I think Ines is my favourite shade from the original, as it gives such a lovely healthy and youthful soft flush of colour.

The new Melanie shade is stunning. It will be perfect if you love a vibrant and poppy flush of colour.
