Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Launch at Selfridges

Viktor & Rolf fans are going to be absolutely delighted at the arrival of the second female fragrance from the duo, BONBON, which has just launched exclusively at Selfridges.

When I first heard the idea of a candy inspired fragrance, I wasn’t sure that I’d like it, but then when Viktor & Rolf (themselves!) mentioned caramel I got rather interested!

Bonbon is an almost edible melange of mandarin, orange and peach, with a heart of caramel, jasmine and orange blossom on a soft, creamy base of cedar wood, sandalwood and amber. It really is delicious. I am not usually a fan of gourmand fragrances for the skin (although I do love a candle), however, Bonbon really does have something about it. Although sweet, it is rich and dark too, the amber adds a serious edge that I love. And the bottle! It is a bow and bows rank up there with my favourite things.

It really helps that I have a very special personalised bottle. I find that as soon as something has my name on it, my love for it becomes disproportionately amplified! Simple things!

I think it’s going to be a big hit. Viktor & Rolf is available exclusively at Selfridges HERE. Prices start at £50. It doesn’t launch nationwide until 20th April 2014.
