Jamie Genevieve has added new Shimmer Eye Wands to the VIEVE portfolio and they are super pretty. These are easy to use eyeshadow sticks and I have the swatches of the new VIEVE Eye Wands in the shimmer shades right here, along with the six neutral matte shades.
What I like about these pens is that they are super versatile. You can use them alone or for priming, one shade at a time, or lots of them together. They are lovely, and even an eyeshadow learner like me can achieve a really nice result.
I love that they have now introduced the VIEVE Shimmer Eye Wands, because a shimmery eye finish is my favourite, and these new ones are as easy to use at the matte version.

VIEVE Eye Wands Matte Shade Descriptions & Swatches
- Vanilla – is the creamiest of vanilla shades, consider this the perfect blank canvas base for fair skin, it can add definition to any eye or brightness to deeper skin tones
- Sand – is a sandy pink that, when worn alone, creates a subtle shadow on pale skin where it will even out any discolouration
- Camel – is a deep desert beige and the perfect one-and-done hero. Sketch all over the eyelid before blending with the fingertips for an instant modern eye look or layer smokier shades on top
- Hazelnut – is a mauve-tinted brown that will flatter any eye colour, giving depth and warmth when worn alone, or a bolder smoky eye look when layered up
- Mahogany – has rich undertones making it the perfect base shade for deep skin colours, but it can also be used to contour and shape the eye or create high-impact smoke
- Raven – is a deep, rich black, perfect for a smokey eye base or used with a brush for a winged liner: smudge into the lash line and blend out towards the temples for a quick wing

My Review
The formula is the right amount of creamy for precise application and zero dragging on skin, even on my crepey lids! You simply draw it straight on and then use a fluffy brush to blend out and you’re done.
You get a nice bit of play time to blend out and get the shape you want, before the formula sets down beautifully. It really doesn’t budge. After I did my swatches, I tried to smudge them with my fingers and they wouldn’t move.
There was is no transfer at all.
