Vichy is a brilliant French skincare brand and the latest launch is all about caring for blemish prone skins in the Normaderm line. Following the recent launch of Normaderm Night Detox and the Normaderm BB Clear, comes the perfect hydrator for challenged or hormonal skin. So this is a skincare product created to cater to the needs of adult skin prone to hormonal blemishes and also provide 24 hour hydration. It offers instant skin perfecting along with long term skin improvements.

• Airlicium – groundbreaking and ultralight ingredient that disperses and evaporates sebum, whilst mattifying and reducing the appearance of open pores
• PheResorcinol – anti-bacterial super ingredient that exfoliates and reduces uneven skin tone and UV induced pigmentation
• LHA: Salicylic Acid (1.5%) – penetrates deep into the skin to targeting blackhead forming acne
• Caprylol Glycerine – Inhibits the growth of acne germs and sebum production to reduce imperfections whilst moisturising the skin

So this has had some brilliant results in test and studies have shown that the skin is visibly refined in 10 minutes after application with long term results after 2 months with a 25% reduction in sebum, over 27% reduction in uneven skin colour and 75% reduction in inflammatory lesions.

As I don’t have blemish-prone skin, this one isn’t for me but I have passed this on and will report back with news when I can.

What I do know is that it’s a beautifully light texture that sinks in fast, instantly improves the evenness of the skin and smells gorgeous. I think it would make a great base for makeup.
