Verso Hand Serum with Retinol 8 is hardworking skincare for your hardworking hands. Hands are often not considered in terms of skincare. Verso are looking to change that completely with this “supercharged treatment” which “corrects and protects with a retinol-rich formula and UV filters to deflect the damage caused by daily sun exposure”. This hand serum claims to possess the ability to lessen the appearance of dark spots and take years off your hands.

Verso hand serum contains Vitamin A. This improves texture and tone by increasing the levels and production of collagen and hyaluronic acid, keeping your hands looking youthful and cared for. In addition to this, with continued use it is supposed to make skin stronger and “better equipped to protect itself against the ageing effects of environmental stresses”. To apply: Massage a small amount of hand serum onto clean, dry hands. Use twice daily.

Verso Hand Serum Texture

The hardest part of this product is not to treat it like a hand cream. It doesn’t instantly make your hands feel richly moisturised and soft like an ordinary, cheap hand cream would. As it is a serum I like to apply it morning and night as part of my skincare routine.
It is rich but absorbs quickly. I don’t like the scent as I prefer sweeter scents but it is not significantly unpleasant. At only 22, there isn’t much work to be done in terms of reversing signs of ageing on my hands. The skin on my hands does feel stronger though and I love the inclusion of SPF as I feel many of us forget the detrimental effects of the sun on our hands, not just our face. I would recommend it to anybody looking to prevent damage to their hands or to reverse signs of age, scars, pigmentation, wrinkles or texture.
