While I have been obsessing over the Naked Heat palette, Urban Decay have snuck out loads of new products that I haven’t heard much about!! How? A case in point is the Urban Decay Naked Skin Highlighting Fluid which comes in five shades and is UD’s answer to “non-touring”. I have details, photos and swatches of all the shades right here.

Liquid higlighters are huge right now and if you like the ‘lit from within’ glow on your skin, I think these shades from the Urban Decay Naked Skin franchise could be right up your alley. The idea behind these highlighters is about glowing skin that never looks overdone. I love how easy and precise they are to apply, and they are super blendable and sink into the skin beautifully.

I absolutely love the formulation of these highlighters. They melt into the skin like a serum and they have an extremely sheer coverage which means they just add glow, without adding any cakey-ness or texture. They are very forgiving on the skin, and rather than settling in lines or imperfections, actually smooth and blur.

UD suggest using the pale blue, Skywalk, for brightening under the eyes which I am excited to try. They also suggest mixing any of the shades with foundation or concealer for extra glow.

I love the applicator – it is the same as the one on the Naked Skin Concealer. You can get to exactly where you want with it and I use the side to swipe it across the cheekbones, and the tip is great for getting into the arch of the eyebrow, inner corner of the eyes, and the cupid’s bow. I blend with fingertips or a fluffy brush. It’s about beautiful, glowing, juicy skin with no shimmer or glitter at all. They are lovely.
