Australia’s most exciting suncare brand has launched in the UK and it is selling like hot cakes! Here’s what you need to know about the Ultra Violette Skinscreen collection which includes Queen Screen, Lean Screen, Supreme Screen, Clean Screen. Preen Screen, Glow Drops and more.

Ultra Violette Skinscreen is available at Space NK* in the UK.

First of all, I love this super fun, colourful packaging almost as much as I love the fact that this is an entire brand dedicated to sun screen!

Ultra Violette don’t call them sunscreens though. These are Skinscreens and very gorgeous they are too. Everything is high protection and all skin types and desires have been considered. So they have us all covered, in more ways than one.

What is in the Ultra Violette Skinscreen Collection?

There are four different Ultra Violette Skinscreens for the face, a body product, plus a collection of tinted SPF50+ Lip Balms*:

Ultra Violette Queen Screen SPF 50+

Rather predictably, this is the one I went for first. The idea of a luminising sun serum was just too much to resist! If you love a bit of glow, this is the one for you! It has a gorgeous silky, milky texture and it melts into the skin effortlessly. Plus it has a very subtle rose scent.

I absolutely love how this one looks and feels on my skin and my makeup goes on top of this really beautifully. It amps up the glow without making you look sweaty. It is so easy to work with.

This is how it looks on my skin. I’d be happy with just a touch of concealer for easy makeup days.

Ultra Violette Supreme Screen SPF 50+

This is the one the brand says is the allrounder option for those that need a sunscreen but really don’t know which one to choose.

It has a lovely hydrating texture, works well as a makeup primer and has a soft, clean scent. I really like the feel of this one too – light and easy to blend with no pilling.

Ultra Violette Lean Screen SPF 50+

This is the one to go for if you like your skin looking a bit more matte. Plus this is a mineral-only formula. So if that’s your preference, this will tick the boxes with none of the drawbacks that some zinc-only formulas carry.

It isn’t sticky or heavy and is fine for sensitive skin as it is fragrance-free. It isn’t overly matte either, so leaves skin looking natural and healthy. I’ll try and include a skin photo of this one soon.

Ultra Violette Clean Screen SPF 30

This is the only SPF 30 option and has been designed for those with sensitive skin, or those that have trouble with introducing new products into their regime.

This is a really gentle formula with a super-light gel texture  and a natural finish. This one is also fragrance free and well suited to acne-prone or combo skin.

Ultra Violette Sheen Screen SPF 50 Lip Balms

I am so happy to have an SPF 50 lip balm and these feel gorgeous and make my lips look super juicy too. They use lanolin, shea butter and cacao seed butter to nourish and smooth the lips whilst protecting them from the sun. Perfect.
