Tropic Skincare’s mission is to create natural, cruelty free products that will benefit your skin. Their products contain no toxic chemicals or nasty ingredients like SLS, Gluten, Mineral Oils, Talc or microbeads but instead use fresh, premium, natural ingredients like seed butters, fruit extracts and essential oils.

I’ve been away for a few days in the sun so have been able to try out some lovely goodies from Tropic.

Tropic Body Wash

I’ve been using the Wild Mint, Lime and Pineapple Body Wash, which smells very sweet. Almost bag of sweets sweet but also fresh smelling as well. This body cream glides on and leaves skin feeling soft. Free from harsh chemicals, this body wash is perfect for people with sensitive skin prone to breakouts.

Tropic Skincare Skin Shade Mineral Sun Protection

This is a mineral sunscreen in SPF 30 with broad spectrum, UVA and UVB protection and free from toxic chemicals. As this mineral sun cream does not contain Oxybenzone, which can be damaging to coral reefs, it’s kind to our environment. Many people are allergic to Oxybenzone, so it helps them too.

I found this cream to be quite thick but easy to apply. I feel that this would be a great sun cream for children or if you are looking for really good coverage and lasting power from your sun protection.

Tropic Skincare Tinted Skin Shade Mineral Facial Sun Protection

This is the face version of the body sun cream. In a great SPF 50, this cream is tinted so can be worn like you would a BB cream. I liked using this cream as for me, on holiday or when the sun is out, I don’t want to wear foundation but I still need a bit of light coverage to cover my imperfections. The facial Skin Shade comes in light/medium or medium/dark and I’ve been using light/medium. Whilst this is a touch too light for my skin tone, I really like the texture and light coverage of this, as well as knowing I’m putting on proper full sun protection with the SPF 50.

Tropic Skincare Summer Goddess Shimmering Body Oil

This is a body oil which is infused with golden shimmer. Also containing Coconut and Jojoba oils, your limbs will be deeply conditioned. I used this by smoothing over my legs, arms and shoulders and it gives a very subtle golden glow. The oil is quite oily but does keep your skin moisturised and softened.

If using sun care products that have been made using natural ingredients, are cruelty free and suitable for vegans, is what you’re looking for, you’ll want to check out Tropic Skin Care. Find Tropic Skincare here
