I am kind of obsessed with Trish McEvoy. Having met the lady herself at a very intimate and enjoyable launch event in London last month, I fell completely in love with her. She is so lovely! And so is this latest launch, the Trish McEvoy Liquid Lip Color range. I have all three shades here with swatches.

So if you have found liquid lipsticks quite uncomfortable to wear in the past, then these could be a good option because they stay feeling soft and smooth and wear off evenly rather than get patchy and flaky. It’s a concise edit of three shades and each one is beautiful. There are two shades that fall into the nude range and then a stunning red that literally lights up the face.

I feel like I will wear all of these shades:

• Nude
• Mauve
• Power Red

I really like the applicator because it enables you to line the lips easily and then fill them in quickly. The formula feels light yet moisturising and gives the lips a lovely smooth appearance.

I absolutely love Power Red and I think I will get a lot of wear out of that. I think Nude is my fave because it’s perfect for every day and the Mauve shade is like a more serious take on nude. They have all gone into my current makeup bag.
