If you have coloured hair, it is pretty important to use products that help your colour last, otherwise you find it fading much faster than you want it to. Trevor Sorbie have a whole range of colour preserving products and I have been loving this oil. Check out the Trevor Sorbie Colour Enhance Oil.
Trevor Sorbie Colour Enhance Oil Review
Oils work amazingly well on my hair because it is thick, coarse and fairly dry. I feel like it just drinks it up especially when it is just towel dried. The Trevor Sorbie Colour Enhance Oil is lovely and light to use and smells just gorgeous.
I feel like I am caring for my coloured hair as best I can with this, and it sinks into my hair really easily without weighing it down. I concentrate on the lengths and ends, first with a fairly small amount of product, then brush it through with my Tangle Teezer. I then apply a little more and repeat. This way, I can make sure that I don’t overload the hair with product.
It is fairly easy to know when to stop adding in, and I can feel when my porous hair has drunk up enough product. For finer hair, one or two pumps on damp hair will be ample.
I have been using this on and off (in between trying other products of course) for about 3 months and I really love it. The pic above was taken when I first started using it, but it has only gone down a couple of centimetres, so it’s going to last me forever! Which is great for £7.50.
It makes my hair super soft, and shiny, allows it to dry really smoothly and is also brilliant for taming flyaway (using the tiniest amount) on dry hair and perfect for adding definition to brushed out curls. It’s a fab multi-tasker and it’s great to know it is protecting my colour with its blend of Avocado and Argan Oils with Vitamins A, B, D and E. Lovely!!
