So this collection is all about eyes and skin with a natural, glowing vibe. It is an extension of the super popular Born This Way franchise that focuses on effortless flawlessness.

What is the Too Faced Born This Way Natural Nudes Eyeshadow Palette?

This is a palette of modern nudes and the shades were inpsired by the BTW foundation collection and beautiful natural skin tones. It is a brilliant palette, not only because the shades are so good, but also because of the way it is organised.

Shades get deeper and you go along the palette, mattes sit with co-ordinating shimmers and, most impressive, the matte shades are larger than the shimmers, which most people use more of.

Obviously you can use these shades in any way you like, however, Too Faced suggest using a matte shadow in a shade closest to your skin tone all over the lids for a clean base like a foundation for your eyelid.

Next they suggest to layer a shimmer in the same undertone and colour family on top to add a subtle glow. Then layer deeper matte shades where you want to contour your eyes and add shimmery shades to accentuate and highlight. It’s all based on how you would sculpt the complexion.

This is an excellent palette and I’ll get lots of use out of it because it’s super flattering and really easy to use. The formula is beautiful. Love it.

The Soft Focus is the largest pan in the centre and it has been designed to be used on the larger areas of the face to set foundation and brighten. This is very similar to Hourglass’s ambient powders and it’s great for blurring the look of pores and lines with a soft glow finish.

The Glow shade is a lovely highlighting powder with a soft silky texture. It is intended for use on the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, under the brow bone. It’s beautiful on the skin.

The Dazzle shade is for where you want the most sparkle. Too Faced is suggesting we pop it on the top of the cheekbone, the center of the eyelid, the tip of the nose, and the cupid’s bow. This is my least favourite powder as I find the texture a bit chunky, but it actually works pretty well on the skin if you like a bit of soft sparkle.
