I get SO excited when Tom Ford launch a new fragrance, because I have never not liked one! I have Black Orchid, Velvet Orchid and Orchid Soleil and I adore them all. When I wear any of them, I always get compliments. The latest addition to the collection is Tom Ford Velvet Orchid Lumiere Eau De Parfum, and guess what? It’s beautiful! Here’s everything you need to know.

This gorgeous bottle contains a ‘gourmand-touched’ fragrance and if you liked the original Velvet Orchid I think you will like this. It is soft, sensual and sexy – everything I like in a fragrance, and once again, it is pretty much guaranteed to get you compliments.

Tom Ford Velvet Orchid Lumiere Notes

• Top Notes: Italian Bergamot, Mandarin, Honey, Hyper-purified Rum Extract
• Heart Notes: Jasmine Absolute, Black Rose Oil, Cattleya Leopoldi Orchid, Black Orchid
• Base Notes: Vanilla, Labdanum, Sandalwood, Sandalwood, Myrrh

It’s a gorgeous blend. At first, it seems very similar to Velvet Orchid but it soon becomes much lighter and fresher. It is softly sweet and the rum element is so good. I’m not a rum person but I love the smell of it in the air. I also get the rose note more in this Orchid. I love rose so that makes me happy.

Although it has a lighter feel, Tom Ford Velvet Orchid Lumiere is still a deliciously rich fragrance. It’s super creamy on the skin and very sexy. Of course it’s sexy, it’s TF! It lasted really well on my skin and it dries down to a light woodiness and grown up soft vanilla. I love it; totally addicted already!

Also the bottle is incredible! It’s a beautiful deep purple in a velvety matte finish. So thrilled to add this to my collection!
