My Review

This fragrance is all about taking you to a secluded private beach with the sensation of sun on your skin. Imagine!

For me, it really is a gorgeous fragrance with lots of contrasts. It is floral and fresh yet so so warm with radiant amber and the smokiness of incense, vetiver, and leather. It’s sexy and smells expensive (which it is!).

It has the kind of creaminess that I love in a fragrance, and it clings softly and smoothly to my skin, and lasts and lasts.

I love how the Incense, Leather and Honey notes mix, so it’s never too smoky or too sweet at once. Also, I think this is a summer fragrance that you can definitely wear in winter too because of the mix of fresh and smoky. I just love it.

How long does it last?

I find that Tom Ford Soleil Brulant lasts really well on my skin. I think I can smell it easily for about six or seven hours, and then even after that it’s there, but more skin-like.

The Bottle

We have to talk about the bottle. If you’re a magpie like me, you will be obsessed because it is so stunning. The gold is decedent yet chic and quite frankly, I just want to stare at it! I love a bit of bling, and this is the best kind.

Value for Money?

It think it’s a little tricky to talk about value for money when it comes to Tom Ford Private Blend, because it’s such an expensive collection and this makes the idea of value pretty subjective.

What I can say is that I love the scent and it does last really well on my skin. It isn’t one that I feel I need to top up, so I think the bottle will last me a good while.

Also, even when the bottle is empty, I’ll keep it because it’s like an ornament and it makes me happy to look at it! It is more expensive than the other Soleil fragrances, so value for money isn’t great in that respect. I guess you will just have to decide how much you need it!!
