The Eyes of Tom Ford collection has finally landed and selling really well. I thought I’d take a closer look at the mono shadows which are little works of art in themselves. Check out my review and swatches of the super gorgeous Tom Ford Private Shadow collection. I have lots of photos.

Now, the key thing you need to consider with these shadows are limited edition so you will need to be fairly quick to pick up the shades you want.

The packaging is super cute and very well made. You unclip the gold TF bar and then lift the lid. You even get a little mirror inside. I really hope they start using this design on the quads.

My favourites are Warm Leatherette, Smoke Opaline, Exposure, Videotape, Naked City, Loveshade and Breathless. I will get loads of use from those, and as a lover of a simple eye look, a one shade wash of colour over the lids is an easy and chic go-to. I have the pale pinky tones of Exposure over my lids today and it is perfect for really opening up the eyes and making me look more awake than I actually am!

The only shade I am not a fan of is Vertigo because it doesn’t seem to share the same pigmentation as its other Ultra Suede counterparts, as you will probably have noticed from the swatch.
