Tom Ford Badass Mascara Review

I have been reaching for this mascara so much recently that I thought I had better write about it! Here’s the lowdown on the Tom Ford Badass Mascara with before and after photos.
This isn’t a new mascara, but I received it with this year’s Tom Ford Soleil Summer collection and it works so well for me and my lashes that I wanted to tell you about it.
What is Tom Ford Badass?
The tagline for this mascara is “Lush. Voluminous. Waterproof.”
- Intensely black
- Waterproof, smudge-proof, humidity-resistant
- Designed to deliver volume, length, curl and separation
- Uses Jojoba esters to moisturise and care for lashes
- Asymmetric brush is designed for three look benefits
- Concave side contains extra-soft bristles to stretch and lengthen lashes for a panoramic effect
- Convex side features short, flexible bristles to reach the smallest, thinnest lashes
- Rounded tip with long bristles provides precise, lengthening application at the corners of eyes.

This is two generous coats but you can get a lovely light and fluttery look with one light coat. See below for that.

What I love about this mascara is how pretty my lashes look after just one light coat.
It gives a really nice fluttery and natural effect that’s super flattering.
I find it lasts really well on my lashes but isn’t hard to remove like some waterproof mascaras can be.
It did smudge a little one time I wore it, when I had a bout of hayfever, but it was easy to fix and that wasn’t enough to stop me loving this mascara.
I love the way this lifts the lashes and really keeps the curl all day. They don’t droop or flop, and it makes it look like I have used a lash curler which I never do. I have a slight phobia when it comes to curling my lashes – I’m always scared that I am going to suddenly do something weird, and pull all my eyelashes out!!
The brush is excellent. It grabs and lifts every lash and coats them in light layers, ensuring it never looks suddenly heavy. Also, if you do love a heavier lash look, this formula is very easy to layer without clumping.
I just love this mascara. It really works for me.
